| Stats & Ranks reset | | | | Several people have been asking to reset the ranks on the servers. So yesterday all the ranks and stats have been reset. Resetting the ranks made it possible to enable the HLstats again so they are back online and can be found here. The Psychostats have also been reset.

| | | New Servers Online | | | | Starting today new HookMod servers are online. It's almost the same as the first server but with little differences. One of them is a Knives Only server and the other one has a different HookMod config so the Hook will go a lot slower. It is set in the same way as when the first HookMod server once started about a year ago.

| | | HookMod Playground SteamGroup | | | | There's now a group at Steam for the HookMod Playground server. I sent out some invites, but ofcourse you can add yourself also. Check out the group homepage here.
| | | Stats are down | | | | The Psychostats en HLstats pages are down for now because the statistics are no longer synchronized with the ranking system on the server. Besides that the database also became corrupt for some unexplainable reason. So untill further notice or the next rank reset the stats pages will be down. Sorry about that, and please accept our most humble apologies.
| | | Just say /bindme | | | | It's really not that difficult to just say /bindme to set a key for hook. Well for some people it is. Check out the following chat log that I found today when I was monitoring the server.

| | | Server Rules | | | | New server rules will be shown as MOTD on the server. All players on the server should obbey these rules. I also added some rules for the admins. You can read the rules when you log on to the server but also when you say /motd. Click here to see the rules page
| | | Ingame Music Radio Streams | | | | Some new plugins have been added to the server. One that makes you invite the other last opponent for a 1vs1 knive only dual by slicing your knife against the wall 3 times. The other player will be asked the question if he accepts yes or no. The plugin is a plugin that let's you listen to online streaming radio stations ingame. The two main commands are /playmedia and /stopmedia. You're just gonna have to find out yourself what this options exactly do in the game.
Pleaple who want to get in touch with me can better sent me an email or a private message on this site. I get a notification when I've received a message so i can contact you asap. Spamming the shoutbox on the frontpage has no use at all. Please stop doing that.
| | | New server changes | | | | HLstats is working again. But the rankings are completely screwed compared to the Pstats ones. I'll try to fix that soon. I'm afraid the only solution will be to reset the ranks.
Also a couple of new scoutz maps have been added to the server. They're not all very good, but they can be fun sometimes. Especially the smaller maps when there's not many people playing on the server.
Please stop asking me about becoming admins because there's enough admins already. Today I was actually thinking about going on the server "undercover" so I could just have good time just playing without being bothered by a zillion people if they can be admin.
I'm not sure who, or if anybody is clan leader. I also don't really care that much if people join "the clan" but if you as admin decide to let somebody in the clan then make sure he's a nice player. Not some uberganger who does nothing else but gang. I also gang sometimes, so does everybody. But it's nothing compared to some other players.
In the near future the connection to the server will be upgraded from 10mbps to 100mbps so that's a good thing. Als later this year a second hookmod server will be coming online, and my intention is to make it a knives only server. Perhaps with WC3 mod installed if that turns out to be fun. Gotta run some tests first. My goal is to start renting servers in the future to people who are willing to pay me money for it. So if you're interested, let me know!! Perhaps we can work somethg out
